Unlocking possibilities.
About IDloop
IDloop is a deep-tech pioneer at the cutting edge of biometrics and high-resolution 3D scanning, transforming the way identity verification and spatial analysis are performed. By integrating advanced AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion, we deliver breakthrough solutions that set new benchmarks in accuracy, security, and user experience — serving sectors from border control and security to autonomous quality assurance and forensic investigation.
Founded in early 2022 and headquartered in Jena, Germany — a historic hub for optical and photonic innovation — IDloop stands at the intersection of research, engineering, and real-world impact. Our work is supported by the European Union and driven by a commitment to pushing the frontiers of imaging technology.
IDloop leads multiple R&D initiatives exploring next-generation optical solutions for a wide range of industrial and governmental applications. Among our key collaborations is a series of security-focused projects with Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik, BSI), underscoring our role as a trusted partner in national and international innovation ecosystems.
Through our proprietary technologies and partnerships, IDloop is shaping a future where 3D biometric and industrial imaging unlocks safer, smarter, and more connected environments.
MISSION
We develop cutting-edge biometric and industrial solutions powered by high-performance 3D imaging technology — enabling fast, automated, and highly reliable 3D recognition

CFS® flats — Contactless 3D Fingerprint Scanning
CFS® flats is IDloop’s flagship biometric product — the world’s first true 3D, completely contactless fingerprint scanner. It captures the full 3D structure of a fingerprint, down to the microscopic ridges and valleys, and uses a proprietary algorithm to convert this data into 2D formats compatible with existing fingerprint databases.
Designed for use in high-security environments, CFS flats is ideal for:
-
International border control
-
Biometric enrollment for ID documents
-
Law enforcement and forensic applications
BTM — High-Speed 3D Imaging for Industry
BTM is IDloop’s solution for fast, high-precision 3D scanning in industrial environments. Based on patented structured light technology and high-performance optics, BTM enables both inline and offline inspection, reverse engineering, and automated quality control.
It captures detailed surface structures rapidly and reliably — pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in industrial metrology.
